View of double room “Höhronen”
From mid-January to early May, three rooms on the first floor on the west side of the Oberhaus were gently renovated. They now complement the existing accommodations of the B&B Oberhaushof as double rooms.
The rooms were furnished with furniture from the inventory of the house. The double room “Höhronen” is equipped with furniture from Stefan’s paternal grandparents, Hedwig and Albert Bühler-Boller. In the double room “Zimmerberg”, a four-poster bed built in 1734 and the corresponding closet form the core of the furniture. And in the double room “Pfannenstiel”, our guests find furniture from Stefan’s maternal grandparents, Marie and Robert Wildberger-Wolf.
With the addition of these rooms
, we can now accommodate up to 22 guests in a total of three double rooms, three studios and one holiday maisonette. This means that the bed & breakfast is now complete. On two floors in the historic Oberhaus and in the annex of the “Trotte” building, our guests can stay in friendly and comfortable rooms, some of which are furnished with antique furniture from the house and all of which are equipped with central heating and modern sanitary facilities. In addition, guests will find several recreation areas in and around the house as well as a recreation room with kitchen in the former wash house below the garden.Apart from the three double rooms, we have introduced another new feature: a charging station for electric vehicles in the parking space. This means that our guests can now also come with an electric car without having to worry about charging.
