Lovers say yes in our garden

Last weekend was the first test for our infrastructure and for us as hosts: Our son Tobias and his bride Nadine celebrated their wedding with us on the Oberhaushof farm! Due to coronavirus restrictions, they had had to cancel their originally planned reception, but with the latest easing of measures, they were allowed to organise a spontaneous wedding reception with a small group of guests now.

The first new feature is ready

Today, we finished the first new feature of the B&B Oberhaushof which will also be visible for the guests. It’s a wooden terrace in the garden. Before this, we mainly tidied up and disposed of what we no longer needed. Aside from that, we already did some refurbishment work in the background. But with the terrace, there is now the first completely new feature.

New old windows

Today marked the first full working day at the Oberhaus. Not surprisingly, the refurbishment of the B&B started with some clearing out. In the process, we stumbled across some old windows. At the moment, they are rather dull, but once the dust of the last few decades will be removed, they will be shiny again – especially the coloured windows on the left side of the picture.
